Work experience
After working in big London agencies for 4 years I fancied a bit of a change. At Pixelgroup I worked in concept and design for clients like the Financial Times, Complicite, Vodafone Greece, Bulletproof and GPD investments.
Mostly design work on American Express, IBM, several Unilever accounts, BP and British Airways.
Worked on a wide range of jobs and clients. In order of relevance (for me) Orange, Coca-Cola, Rexona/Lynx, Xbox, Yell, Nike, Fiat, SkySports, Sky, LG, Nokia, Smirnoff, Johnie Walker.
My first "real" job (with managers and all that), I was part of the small team that made "Spirituc" almost synonimous with "webdesign" back in Portugal. Looking back those were some good times, if a bit too much work... Did some good work for big clients such as Caixa Geral de Depósitos (bank), TMN (mobile operator), EMEL (lisbon parking agency) and Delloite Consulting, and some smaller ones like Longevity.pt, Hoteis Real and Badoca Park.
My first design job. I was invited to join this small studio in Lisbon (3 people) after being spotted at university. We developed some very good work during 6 months, after which we all got offered other jobs. Our clients included 20/20 Multimédia, Caixa Geral de Depósitos, Olá (Walls – icecreams), Somincor, Spirituc and Visão Online.
Education
I have pre-Bologne portuguese Licenciatura in Design de Comunicação. If you wonder what that means you can read this Wikipedia entry. Thanks EU for aknowledging my efforts (and those of everyone other "licenciado")!
